William is someone who we will be hearing more of in the future.
Witnessing the speed of his fingers across the keyboard hides the fact that much training and practice has gone
on behind the scenes. I've meet William and he is a talented young chap, not pretentious at all.
Good Luck for the future. Mainlander
William has an almost unbridled passion for music and performing quiet unlike anything I have encountered
in 25 years of teaching. Joel Bolton

We were delighted to see the plethora of awards you won at the Performing Arts Competitions this year.
All truly deserved. You have an amazing talent and your dedication and hard work to make the most of
that talent is truly commendable. Well done!

William has an amazing future ahead of him. David Naylor, Nelson School of Music
Our gig at “The Boathouse” gave us a special treat with the guest appearance of that talented young man,
William Fairbairn, 10 years old. As well as a great keyboard player, William entertained us with some great
harmonica playing with the band, which blew everyone away. It’s no easy task for a young chap to play
with a full band, but William takes it all in his stride. We also acknowledge Williams recent achievement of
winning four first place certificates and three trophy cups at this years performing arts competition.
Congratulations. Johnny Morris & Freewheelin Team - www.freewheelin.co.nz
Hi William - Finally got around to checking my messages and see you cleaned up the awards again!
Congrats, great going. Best Regards, Selwyn Finlay
William came to my music class at age 5. It was very apparent he had driving passion and a talent for music,
especially composition.
Good luck William. Eleanor Clenshaw, Nelson School of Music
William continues to go from strength to strength in his musical development. Numerous gigs, CD launch and
appearance on TV One Headliners are a few of his notable successes in 2005. Currently he is working through
a grade 2 Royal Schools of Music Jazz syllabus (although he could probably work at a higher level than this).
He is also playing at a grade 5 classical level. It is quite difficult to categorise him into certain grades however,
because his musicianship and ability to compose and improvise often exceeds these levels. He is a delightful
young boy and I really enjoy working with him. Joel Bolton, Music Teacher
I am in awwwwww!!!! of William...his talent brings a tear to my eye. George
It was great to see William strutting his stuff on Sunday night. Our friends from Christchurch thought he was amzing.
We will look back in 10, 20 years time and see him in the bright lights and famous, I am sure of that. RO - Nelson Jazz Club
Hello William - I explored your website and actually am listening to your 'Shark Catching The Rainbow Fish';
I am very, very impressed with your creativity!! Congratulations on your positive experience at the competition too.
I enjoyed the website very much and have a special admiration for your enthusiasm for music. I think you have a
special gift that millions and millions of people will have the privilege of been touched by - as I can see this is already
happening. Keep on playing and composing - you are amazing and don't ever forget that. Dave www.myonlinemusiccoach.com
William - On behalf of the organisers of the SBS Antique & Retro Extravaganza, I would like to thank you for giving up
your weekend to entertain the public at our show. The crowd may not have been the largest you have played to, but
they were certainly appreciative. I sat next to a lady who was reduced to tears by your tribute song to Sir Edmund Hillary.
Many thanks for giving your time and talent to us. Judy Pittman, Secretary SBS Antique & Retro Extravaganza
